The european life of erin and carley. Friday, June 3, 2011. Ciao italia, you will be missed. Top of the duomo in florence. we walked 463 steps to get to the top! Last night in florence. My parents flew out to venice to meet us. i was so happy to see them finally! And of course one of the first things we do is get nutella pie (my favorite) and cannolis. Italy study abroad 2011=BEST GROUP EVER. Thank you steve for such an amazing time. we love you! San marco square in venice. Ciao italia, you will be missed.

We took a train through the mountain to the top of the highest point in europe called jungfrau. so cool! This was called the "ice palace" which was an entire ice tunnel through the inside of the mountain. The view from our hotel where we ate breakfast every morning. perfection. Frolicking through swiss meadows? Petting a swiss cow? Dont mind if i do. Step 3: leaping. check.

Sunshine in my soul. Saturday, July 2, 2011. Bright as a shooting star. One of my favorite things about Provo this year has been miss Maddie Gallacher's roof. Her apartment has the only roof access in all of the Avenues. It's the perfect place to catch some rays and on my last night in Provo we discovered its also the perfect place to see shooting stars. We saw the most incredible shooting star! It lasted for a good five seconds. It was red and. Claire Pingree, Lauren McFadyen, and Maddie Gallacher.
