EDC 3100 – ICT and Pedagogy Blog. The musings of a preservice teacher and ICT explorer. My (hopefully) burgeoning list of potential reasons to use ICT, both generally and in the special education context. To familiarise my students with various forms of technology. To enrich their learning experiences through the use of different media (computers, powerpoint presentations, websites etc.). To innovate learning/learning new things. To encourage students to become more connected to the world around them.

Yes, I’ll admit that I still get a little worried whenever I use ICTs to enhance and transform my students’ learning (more for the potential errors that could occur than anything else), but the fact that I’ve learned. The blog of Rebel Bright – Mother, wife, dinosaur and student! Why should society feel responsible only for the education of children, and not for the education of all adults of every age? Technological, Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (T-PACK) Framework, for the integration of ICTs into lessons whilst teaching. I came across a YouTube clip, titled (funnily enough) TPack Framework.

Saturday, November 12, 2011. Family Fun.and a Picnic. Today we went to George Ranch Historical Park for a family picnic. It was a beautiful day and we all had a lot of fun. Michael ran all over the place, chased bubbles, got a ballon, and played some footbal with Daddy, Uncle Tony, and Grandpa. Grandpa gave piggy-back rides. Lori gave them also! Grandma and Grandpa ended the day with a Texas Twirl. The one attraction that really caught his eye were the pony rides! He loved it and had a lot of fun! Today ...

My family, my photography, my thoughts. . my life. Tuesday, September 4, 2012. This morning, the sweetest young girl from this years summer camp, contacted me about an image i had taken during their drama. It is a very well known drama to the song "Everything", by Lifehouse. For those of you who have not seen it, this is the moment Jesus is holding back all of the pressures of the world fighting violently to crush in on the young girl. The beauty who contacted me:). Monday, April 18, 2011. Welcome New baby Standard to Meghan and Ryan and big sister K! For Baby S's arrival, I made him two hats which are the first newborn baby gifts I have made and actually got to deliver and SEE the baby in :-). The first one is a bear hat which Meghan had specifically requested as she loves ears on babies. I used a half silk/half baby alpaca wool (not the best yarn for babies but it was SOOO soft) and cast on 44 stitches. For the EARS: Make two. To finish, fold hat in half with the ...
