I dont get it either - I mean, I love seeing things in the field but theres a point where everyone has that little voice inside of them that tells them to hurry up and get to safety. Why do people ignore that? Regardless, I do think the weather channel did a very good job the last couple of weeks with their coverage and advance warnings, so hopefully that saved some lives. Monday, May 2, 2011. Prince of Dubai and Pat Day. Tonight, we played handbells for the Race for Grace dinner on Millionaires Row at Churchill Downs. The Prince of Dubai was there. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of him.but here's one from Google! We also got to see Pat Day! He even came up and talked to us after we were done performing! Day is the all-time leading rider at Churchill Downs. And Keeneland Race Course. The two largest tracks in his adopted home state of Kentucky. May 3, 2011 at 10:26 PM.

Sunday, April 10, 2011. Okay, this weekend was the best ever (or at least Saturday night was the best ever). I got to see my favorite actress in person! Unfortunately we didn't talk to her or get a picture with her (one person did as she was leaving but I didn't have a camera, just my phone). But just the fact that we stood next to her for about 30-45 minutes completely made my night. Sunday, April 3, 2011. Spring is in the air! I can't wait to be able to leave work and walk straight to a Louisville Bats...

Monday, June 28, 2010. Sunday, June 27, 2010. Friday was interesting. I was supposed to go into work from 8-11am. Good thing I didn't.my morning consisted of calls every 30 minutes or so about how someone's flight was delayed (or canceled! That made for a slightly stressful morning! Everything FINALLY worked out though and people started arriving! We picked up Christine and Mikey from the airport and headed downtown to sightsee and eat lunch before we drove down to the wedding area. The river and downtown.

Sunday, April 3, 2011. Spring is in the air! I've been looking forward to the start of baseball season since we got our first taste of warmth a few weeks ago (and then it went back to being cold again). Well, I think it's finally here! I can't wait to be able to leave work and walk straight to a Louisville Bats game for the evening. And I'm loving walking around the city when it's nice out! Cincinnati Reds baseball game!
