Wednesday, February 20, 2008. I finished this amazing book about a week ago, and want to recommend it to anyone that is looking for a good inspirational read. Rarely am I able to finish a book, but I want to read this one over again! I love the way she adds so many supporting scriptures and quotes from General Authories and cool people like that. The day finally got here for a real cast! She was nervous as they had to x-ray her arm again because moving it into the position they needed really hurt her. And we were a bit shocked when they told us she would have to wear a full arm cast! There was like 3 people per row. So funny! I may or may not have peed my pants whilst running that evening.

Conli got to go to a great soccer camp at BYU for a couple days. She loved it. She has been playing with a club team :La Roca: for the winter and she's learned a TON. It's been amazing to watch her learn and grow and start to think about moves and strategies. She's the cutest. A little lunch date with these two at the Chick Fil-A is always a good time.

Sunday, November 10, 2013. No school equals exploring with Mom. We definitely knocked one of the bucket list when we went to Georgetown and ate at DC cupcakes. The best part was.NO LINE! Zach was a fan. Really we were all fans. We walked and explored Georgetown for a while and then went down to the river and had a lot of fun just playing around. There was a really neat Zen and relaxation maze. Not so Zen for us, the kids had fun running it and timing to see who could get the fastest time. A weekend of 10.

Tuesday, July 30, 2013. Yesterday was a monumental day. Almost exactly four years ago our family moved from Texas here to Charlottesville, Virginia for Bret to obtain a PhD in business at Darden. Jena surprised us and came by to play for a little bit- so of course I got to hold Lenny for a long time! And she helped Fin with her nails. For Conli's birthday cake at Mana's, Karri outdid herself. She made this and it was beautiful! Always excited for every present! Fin had to give me a fashion show on her bike one afternoon, demanding I take pictures.

Tuesday, May 19, 2009. Brighton was born around 2 pm on April 21st, although she was not due until the 24th. She weighed 6 lbs. 12 oz. and was 19 and 1/2 inches long. She has been such a precious addition to our family, and we are so grateful for her! A cute girl from our Provo ward names Kaitlyn Janis took some awesome photo's the day before Brighton was born, then came to our house when she was 9 days old and took the adorable newborn shots.
