Starting a New Life. Sunday, March 8, 2009. Doctors and more doctors. My thyroid has been giving me fits on and off or years and finally a doctor says lets have it double and triple checked again! See proof.a prayer has been answered.hahaha! So, that is where we stand now, waiting for results and knowing that when the time is right, God will answer our prayer with our own little miracle. Philip Payton was born about 3:10pm and weighted 7 pounds 12 ounce and is 21 inches long. He is a very healthy little boy and was are so proud to have him in our family. Wednesday, March 11, 2009. My Bridal Shower was this past weekend. My Mom did an AWESOME job! I got a lot of the things from Bed bath and Beyond that I really wanted :). I wish we had taken a picture of the cake. Apparently, when it arrived, it was poorly decorated for a baby shower with pastels and rainbows! By the time I got there, they had scraped off the icing, and redecorated it with strawberries It looked fantastic! In other news, we have about 70 'yes' responses for the wedding! Friday, April 3, 2009. My final fitting was yesterday! After work yesterday, and before my appointment, my department at work had a bridal shower for me! Our developmental kids make custom printed napkins, so of course, they made me some. There was a beautiful, and yummy, cake and they bought us tons of gifts! Today, my students were released early after their finals, so I met Rigo for lunch at Subway. I managed to navigate my way to the nearest post office to purchase the stamps for our invitations and have one of them weighed. Each one will only need one stamp, HOORAY! So, Stamps: CHECK. Tuesday, March 31, 2009. The wedding is sneaking up fast! We're down to 11 days! I have almost everything done and I couldn't be happier. I am starting to get a little nervous though.eeek! Wednesday, July 30, 2008. Today saw Brittany's 17th birthday party. I made her a tye-died, Yellow Submarine cake and we had a few family members over for dinner. It was a LOT of fun.
