Saturday, May 7, 2011. Traveling in Italy: Venice. The algae growing on these steps had quite a variety of colors. We hopped off the Vaporetto to visit Doge's Palace. Then St. Marks Square. It was quite unfortunate to find out that The Bridge of Sighs had been totally covered up by advertisements. You couldn't even SEE the bridge from the other side. St Marks Square was nothing like I had imagined. There were hardly any pigeons and the ads and scaffolding covered up a lot of the buildings. Our first nigh...

ErinChris Photo Blog: November 2009

http://erinharvey.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html

Sunday, November 22, 2009. Traveling in Europe: Paris. I know it's been a while since we posted about our trip to Europe, but here are photos from the second half of our trip. We took the Eurostar train from London to Paris, which was super easy and nice. Public transportation is something Europe definitely has over us. On to the pictures! Along the Siene River in Paris. Outside Notre Dame Cathedral. The first night in Paris, we went to the Louvre. One of the many Egyptian obelisks. We walked all the way...

Monday, November 22, 2010. Portraits - Safety Harbor, FL: Kara and Chris. We found this cool old car in front of an auto shop and stopped in for a few fun photos. These two are huge Gator fans so as much as it pained us to photograph, we had to capture a few in gameday attire. Links to this post. Tuesday, November 9, 2010. Wedding - Homestead, FL: Erica and Matt. The setting for the reception was beautiful with lights strung across the dancefloor and candles hanging from the trees. Links to this post.

Thursday, April 8, 2010. Wedding - Clearwater Beach, FL: Amber and Greg. Amber and Greg were married at the Carlouel Yacht Club on Clearwater Beach over Easter weekend. The weather was bright and sunny which made for a crowded day at the beach, but luckily we got away from most of the crowds on the north end of the island. Erica with Occasions. The details at the reception had a very elegant beach theme and the cake was one of the most unique we've ever seen! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Monday, March 29, 2010. Wedding - St. Petersburg, FL: Amanda and Ryan. Amanda and Ryan have known each other since grade school as they both grew up in Polk county. It was great to be a part of their day as they finally became husband and wife. They had a beautiful day for their wedding on St. Pete beach at the Grand Plaza. I absolutely loved Amanda's dress! It was the perfect mixture of fabrics, and she looked amazing in it. Links to this post. Sunday, March 14, 2010. Links to this post.

Wednesday, March 16, 2011. American pancakes and banagrams. Needless to say, this student was so thrilled to have "American pancakes" again, and was happy to introduce it to his friends. While Peggy and I cooked up the pancakes and bacon we introduced them to a new game called "Bananagrams" which is a game that uses tiles to make words in any which way. This was fun to help them with English, but we also saw their creative sides. Wednesday, December 8, 2010. More than enough to be. A band from Holland th...

While being slaves, there wasn’t much hope. The slaves had to turn to religion to help them make it through. Death was often on their mind. Africans viewed death as perhaps the most important rite of passage rather than as the end of life (174). Death was just a part of life for slaves. Africans have blended togethe...

Top 100 Book List…. February 17, 2014 · 9:57 pm. Keeping Fit, and Having Fun? Another New Year, another set of resolutions. For me to have stuck to this resolution (and to see results) is earth shattering. I’ve re-joined the gym (and have actually been going), stopped drinking my FAVOURITE sugary coffee drinks (for the most part), and have been attempting to eat healthier. Doesn’t sound like much does it? Well, you’re right! October 15, 2012 · 10:42 pm. Sooooooooo, I like to make things (or attempt makin...

Food & Drink. Erin Goes to the Chiropractor. Posted on June 11, 2014. Bull; 0 Comments. I’ve also always experienced lower back pain. Some nights, when I crawled into bed, the simple act of lying flat on the mattress would cause so much pain in my back that sleep was literally impossible. Finally, I’ve always seemed to get an inordinate amount of headaches. It became almost like a running gag anytime anyone needed some painkillers, they would ask me, because they knew I’d always be packing. It was a reve...
