Mommy's Empty Head: Day 5, Day 6, and Day 7
http://vancouverhometown.blogspot.com/2011/11/day-5-day-6-and-day-7.html
Monday, November 07, 2011. Day 5, Day 6, and Day 7. Slammin these all into one post - yesterday was a perfect day for pulling out the camera and I thought (for about a millisecond) that it was the perfect opportunity to get some family shots, however I was in no mood to make myself look presentable. Of course with today's rain and leaves falling off the trees I am kicking myself. Day 5 - Windows/Doors. Day 6 - Three's. Day 7 - Mess. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Day 5, Day 6, and Day 7. Mommy's Empty Head: July 2009
http://vancouverhometown.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 25, 2009. Things to learn at soccer camp. Ethan just finished a week at soccer camp. He didn't love it, but he thought it was ok (I think being in the scorching sun had something to do with it). Funny how a few weeks ago he dreaded swimming, but in the last week when it has been stinking hot he can't wait to go. At any rate, he did well. He learned a few new tricks:. He went after the ball (most of the time). Most importantly he did have a smile on his face. Links to this post. Interview w...

Mommy's Empty Head: Day 4 - Architecture
http://vancouverhometown.blogspot.com/2011/11/day-4-architecture.html
Friday, November 04, 2011. Day 4 - Architecture. Ar·chi·tec·ture noun ˈär-kə-ˌtek-chər. 1: the art or science of building; specifically : the art or practice of designing and building structures and especially habitable ones. When I first went out today (minus my camera) I noticed many many beautiful things and places that I wanted to capture. So I went home, got my camera and returned. Unfortunately the light was different, but still there were some good shots. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The my...

Mommy's Empty Head: March 2011
http://vancouverhometown.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 04, 2011. Exhibit One: Our ugly bathroom (notice I didn't bother to tidy before taking the photo). Our house was built in the early 80's, and this bathroom is a good example of ICK. It was functional, although I prefer more drawers than the cupboards. Don't you just love the lights? And if you look to the far right you'll see about a foot of totally wasted space under the counter. . The toilet is disconnected, but what six year old would realize that when he was over for a playdate? Origin...

Mommy's Empty Head: August 2011
http://vancouverhometown.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Another lag between posts. Well, I am happy to report that my black hair is much lighter, not the best choice I have made with regard to hair colour. Especially since my lovely white hair underneath began to grow in within a couple of weeks. So we (my hairdresser and I) have decided that my lid would benefit from some highlights, so we are back to dark and red. Oh the drama. The next week we got our puppy. All 20 lbs of fuzz. The kids were in love. He does have an easygoing pers...

Mommy's Empty Head: December 2009
http://vancouverhometown.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 31, 2009. Out with the old.in with a new resolution. So I have decided to revive the blog. I am even debating trying to post something every day, a fair whack of that will have to be photos though, because I am just not that talented to write something daily. So to all two of you who read this blog, hold onto your hats! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Out with the old.in with a new resolution. Some crazy people who read this stuff. Mommy's Empty Head: Day 2 - letters/numbers
http://vancouverhometown.blogspot.com/2011/11/day-2-lettersnumbers.html
Wednesday, November 02, 2011. Day 2 - letters/numbers. I had a good idea of what I wanted to shoot today, so I remembered to take my camera when I took the puppy out for a walk. I didn't remember to put in a memory card though. Take two - Renee and I went to pick up the kids from school early and we looked for photo ideas. Here are three that we wound up with. Mommy's Empty Head: Day 3 - Shadows
http://vancouverhometown.blogspot.com/2011/11/day-3-shadows.html
Thursday, November 03, 2011. Day 3 - Shadows. Funny thing is, when you are photographing shadows, you typically need some sun. I am horrible at photographing with artificial light, I really like natural light - and as luck would have it, it was gross and overcast today. I usually love taking pictures on overcast days (clouds are like a giant soft-box), but having a touch of sun would have made this assignment much easier. Not quite a shadow, but it turned out pretty cool. Glad I had my tripod with me!
