The positive of this is that I get a break for a few days from all the hormones and medications. Of course, I’ve had a migraine for 24 hours. I will live through that. LOL! My Life and Infertility. On: August 15, 2011. Today was a disappointing and unexpected day. I had a routine baseline scheduled at the fertility clinic today. During my appointment the nurse performed the routine sonogram and discovered that my ovarian cyst had become larger. She spoke with the doctor and he decided that the cyst should be aspirated before stimulating my ovaries to prepare my eggs for harvest. They decided to drain it today. Funny quote of the day:.
