American Aussie: July 2015
http://sydneyamericanaussie.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 30, 2015. As of today, I have now been back in Indiana for 3 weeks. It has been the busiest 3 weeks ever! I'll give a recap of what exactly I have been up to in no particular order. 1 I attended Maggie's presentation on her year in Turkey at the Anthony Wayne Rotary Club in Fort Wayne. Maggie did a fantastic job presenting and I also got to hang out with Orsi before she headed home to Hungary. Me, Orsi, and Maggie. Lunch from Erie Bread and Company: Roast beef, sauerkraut, and dark bread.

Sunday, May 31, 2015. Neon lights on a building in Darling Harbour. When we arrived in Darling Harbour, we watched a free 30 minutes laser and light show. It was really spectacular and super cool to watch! The lights around Darling Harbour. Once the laser/light show finished, we headed to where the boats dock to board our boat for a Sydney Harbour cruise! I'm so glad Cathy thought of the Harbour Cruise when she organised this trip because it was just phenomenal! The Harbour Bridge lit up from the water!

Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Top Ten Tuesday #2: 10 Good Things from the Past Two Days. 1 Today, my host parents headed back home to Casino, NSW. I'm so glad I was able to meet them and get to know relatives of my host family, but I'm so happy to finally be back in my bedroom. Since I had to move all of my clothes out of my dresser and put them in my closet, I spent a good part of the morning reorganizing, which was pretty therapeutic. My beautiful muffins and new cooking gadgets. Thanks mom! 5 Today I al...

Saturday, April 25, 2015. Since I have been back, I have been very busy! The start of our bush walk. It was such a beautiful walk and day! I did my Rotary presentation and my presentation that I had prepared wouldn't load, so I went to plan B and just went through the photos on my memory card. Everyone LOVED my cupcakes. Note future exchange students that the way to your Rotary Club's heart is to bake for them. Red Velvet Cupcakes with homemade cream cheese frosting :). The start of the parade. More of t...

Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Last weekend, Terri, Caitlin, Magdalena, and I headed to Newcastle for the "Light Up Newcastle" event. This was a Rotary fundraising event commissioned to raise money to buy a van for an organization in Newcastle and also for the exchange students to help Rotary raise money for Rotary International's ongoing "End Polio" campaign. When we finally go to the event, I was amazed at the decorations along the waterfront! To raise money for the van, booths were set up selling Chine...
