The thing itself and not the myth. Songs about death and the sea. Worth Getting Up For: The Autumn]. Labor Day weekend of MST3K Gamera and an introduction to Homicide. Not at the same time. For the first time in *years*. The more things change, the more the Puyallup stays the same. Fair food! Rides (including my favorite, the classic wooden roller coaster)! Random, purely American ridiculousness! And this year, much needed purchases of a grey fedora and a plaid belt for my Cocky buckle. At the UCB theate...

http://artintheredwoods.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 26, 2013. Finished my gallery sitting for the day, and am home with a studio space full of copper, paint, paper, prints needing finishing, and pretty much no space. Ugh! Must Clean. Up. Anyway, the other night I was researching some new acrylic techniques and got sucked into Youtube videos. It's insane how much time you can spend there, just looking and looking.and looking. How do I insert videos, I was going to put some here.poop). So am off to play. :). Monday, September 23, 2013.

Writing in the Real World: April 2014
http://kristenmkauffman.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Writing in the Real World. Monday, April 28, 2014. It's the last week of school, my friends. Do you know what that means? You all are thinking finals, but this is creative writing, silly, tricks are for kids. I'm having writer fail. Fortunately, all of my freelance jobs have wrapped up this week, otherwise I would be saying really dumb things (not like "Tips on How to Wear a Classic Black Jumpsuit" is eloquent, per se). Google: What do Tina Fey's kids look like? Google: Are apples good for dogs? 1 It's o...

paper reader: February 2011
http://thepapereader.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
When I was little, a normal day after school would be to go to the library, check out 10 books, lug them home to the surprise of people around me - I was, and still am, very petite - and read for the rest of the night. My parents were never worried about me falling behind in schoolwork mainly because I always loved school. I had a love/love relationship with the library. I loved it because there so many books. I am fee-free for all of 2011. Not a huge claim, but, hey, I'm pretty pleased. I am presently o...
