Saturday, February 25, 2012. This is a picture of Elliot playing with the toys that the nurses brought for him. As much as I dislike going to the hospital, I have to say that I love the staff at McKay-Dee! They are so kind and helpful and seem to really care about their patients. My sister came last weekend and since she got a fancy new camera for Christmas we had her test it out on the kids. Tuesday, June 19, 2012. My side of the family hasn't all been together in a couple years so we took the opportunity of getting our pictures taken while we were all in Washington. My sister's roommate and friend, April, took our pictures. I have to say, she did an awesome job! It's a lot of work to get 16 people (6 of which are little kids) all looking at the camera and smiling at the same time. Although, Sean is mostly not smiling, but with him we take what we can get (love you, hon! Me with my 4 siblings.

Thursday, May 23, 2013. Today was the last day of preschool for Chloe and Jillian. They go to two different preschools so it was lucky that their celebrations were at two different times! From Chloe's program, we went straight over to Jillian's preschool program. Hers was just down the road at a kid's tumbling gym. The kids performed a couple songs for the parents. Finding Joy in the Journey. Tuesday, September 23, 2014. Eye Surgery and Birthdays. Here is Vance the day after surgery. His eyes hurt quite a bit so using a damp wash cloth at the beginning helped. His Aunt Kimberly gave him the cute gold dragon and the hospital gave him the Green Latern blanket. Here he is feeling more normal. I think he enjoyed being at home playing once he started feeling better. However, he did become restless. Here he is a week after his surgery going back to school. Porter is home...
