The Charleblog: Munsinger Gardens and Splash Pad
http://thecharleblog.blogspot.com/2015/07/munsinger-gardens-and-splash-pad.html
Munsinger Gardens and Splash Pad. We made our annual summer trip to St. Cloud to visit the Munsinger/Clemens Gardens last week. The kids love strolling through the beautifully manicured gardens, splashing in the fountains, visiting the peacocks, and throwing crackers to the ducks in the river. My friend's 9-year-old son offered to take a picture of me with the kids, and I think it is the first one I have of me with all five of them. Now for a silly one:. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Rinn Reflections: Fourth of July 2015
http://teamrinntx.blogspot.com/2015/07/fourth-of-july-2015.html
Reflecting on the adventures and blessings of this life. Monday, July 6, 2015. Fourth of July 2015. Dave and I were busy keeping up with our IVF appointments and all my shots last July, and now this "little firecracker" is in our arms this July! We laughed when we put this "little firecracker" shirt on Josiah, because he is definitely the calmest little firecracker ever! We had a fun Fourth of July weekend! Dave had Friday off, and we all loved having him home for a 3 day weekend! Or "You're my mom!

http://teamrinntx.blogspot.com/2015/07/josiah-dodge-4-months.html
Reflecting on the adventures and blessings of this life. Saturday, July 18, 2015. Josiah Dodge: 4 Months. Josiah loves his swing! He coos at the animals that rotate above the swing, and he coos to get anyone's attention when they walk by- adorable! Josiah has also become much better at sitting in the Bumbo seat. He often sits on the kitchen counter while I cook or do dishes. Smiles with daddy in the bathroom mirror and during bathtime*. Daddy's first Father's Day with three kids! Isaac was so proud!

Thoughts from a TCK: A Day in the Life of a History Teacher: Competition Day
http://thoughtsfromatck.blogspot.com/2014/04/a-day-in-life-of-history-teacher.html
Thoughts from a TCK. Tuesday, April 8, 2014. A Day in the Life of a History Teacher: Competition Day. I checked my watch again while Brittany stopped the group to check directions. Were we going to make it? 8221; LW was pale; she had refused to eat breakfast, claiming that her stomach was too tight and would reject it. 8220;Do you think we have a chance at Rome? Brittany suddenly halted again, and the street fell eerily silent. “Are there stairs anywhere? Place for the Middle schoolers followed by the 1.

Thoughts from a TCK. Sunday, October 6, 2013. I absolutely LOVE the Roman Timeline day. This year's class has really raised all my future expectations of them. :-) Hope you enjoy their effort and creativity as much as I do:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Thoughts from a TCK: August 2013
http://thoughtsfromatck.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Thoughts from a TCK. Sunday, August 4, 2013. That was an excellent question. I think it’s about learning, perhaps some about imagination and understanding. Mostly, however, it’s about connecting. It’s no secret I’m a history nerd extraordinaire and wish with all my might Bill and Ted’s time-traveling phone booth were real, for then I would be able to see. Just so we can know it’s the right guy. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Picture Window template. Template images by kickers.

Thoughts from a TCK: History Competition Part 2: Rome Edition
http://thoughtsfromatck.blogspot.com/2014/06/history-competition-part-2-rome-edition.html
Thoughts from a TCK. Monday, June 2, 2014. History Competition Part 2: Rome Edition. The kid asked incredulously. At that moment, the founder of the IHBB (International History Bee and Bowl) came out to greet us and review the rules once again. I glanced down the aisle at my 6 students who had heard this quite a few times by now, but they still sat enraptured and focused. The signal to start came very suddenly, and we were off to our first of five preliminary rounds. In our last few hours in Rome, we wer...

Thoughts from a TCK. Thursday, June 12, 2014. The End of an Era. Monday, June 2, 2014. History Competition Part 2: Rome Edition. The kid asked incredulously. Round 1 was read by the British-accented Richard whom we remembered from our time in Paris. With questions and categories such as "Medieval terms," "World War 1," and "Rome's enemies," we owned that round and breathed a sigh of relief that at least we wouldn't go home complete losers - every Middle Schooler's worst nightmare, right? In our last few ...

Thoughts from a TCK: February 2014

Thoughts from a TCK. Sunday, February 9, 2014. 8220;Well," said Pooh, "what I like best," and then he had to stop and think. Because although Eating Honey was a very good thing to do, there was a moment just before you began to eat it which was better than when you were, but he didn't know what it was called.”. 8213; A.A. Milne. I LOOOOOVVVVVVEEEEEE the Olypmics. I don’t even think I can express strongly enough just how much. More than Winnie the Pooh loves honey. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
