Eucalypt Ridge Quilting: September 2013
http://eucalyptridgequilting.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Some of the happenings in my life as a longarmer, wife, mother and friend. Tuesday, September 10, 2013. This beauty is a design by Jennifer Corkish. And belongs to Lynne. It is mostly done by hand with a bit of machine sewing. It is called "The Wedding Quilt". Just do custom" was the note, and so off I went. There are, of course, lots of feathers, curvy lines, straight lines and a bit of fill. All the quilting is done freehand with the help of rulers and templates. No computerised work on this one.

Eucalypt Ridge Quilting: The photos don't do this quilt justice...
http://eucalyptridgequilting.blogspot.com/2013/06/the-photos-dont-do-this-quilt-justice.html
Some of the happenings in my life as a longarmer, wife, mother and friend. Wednesday, June 5, 2013. The photos don't do this quilt justice. This beauty went home last week, and it is very obvious that I can't take a decent photo! The pinks and greens in this quilt were stunning and the simple piecing design needed simple quilting too, so as not to take over the quilt. I quilted it with lots of ditching, diagonal lines in the blue sashings, and a frame design by One Song Needle Arts,.

Some of the happenings in my life as a longarmer, wife, mother and friend. Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Sorry about the terrible colour in these pics, I couldn't manage a close up with the right colours. Obviously I can't use my camera properly. Anyway this beauty was made by Marg for a family wedding. It is pieced both by hand and machine and hasn't she done a great job? It is quilted both freehand and on the Statler. The freehand is the SID and the continuous curve in the rings.
