Adventures in HorticultureAt BYU-Idaho: Spraying Fungicide in the Greenhouse!
http://byuihorticulture.blogspot.com/2009/10/spraying-fungicide-in-greenhouse.html
Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Spraying Fungicide in the Greenhouse! Our department is known for teaching and learning through hands-on experiences. We thrive on this fact. These students had the opportunity to participate in learning from Brother Barnes the techniques of applying fungicide in the greenhouse. Yes they look goofy, but it is definitely for a good cause! From left to right: Spencer, Stacey, Breanne, Beth, and Joslyn. Having a good time doing it! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Plantaloines: Saltzburg, Austria
http://ericscottball.blogspot.com/2008/11/saltzburg-austria.html
Sunday, November 2, 2008. Our one stop in Austria was one of my favorite places on the trip. Saltzburg is a rather small city that finds its history and wealth in mining salt: Saltz-burg! It was green and there was some pretty sweet scenery. It is also very well known for the first full color movie that was filmed there: The Sound of Music. There were four main highlights: The Salt mines, Hellbrunn Water Gardens, The Mirabelle Gardens and the Hohensalzburg Castle / Fortress. The Hellbrunn Water Gardens:.

Sunday, November 23, 2008. Ok This is my last post of my Europe trip, I am really tired of doing it! So I hope that someone has enjoyed looking at all these foto's, it takes forever to upload them! The London Bridge, just across from the tower of London. The tower of London, where lots of Kings and Queens lived. Where the crown jewels display is. The fuzzy hat guy at the Tower of London. I don't think that I could do that job. He just stands there all day! Loved it. I think that I will try it sometime.

Plantaloines: August 2008
http://ericscottball.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 22, 2008. I went home to Idaho for the annual Ball Family Reunion extravaganza. I call it an extravaganza because we cram 3 family reunions into one week! The boys also went on a four-wheeler ride about warm springs, a spring that is about 30 min from home. The kids played in the dirt and in the water of the spring. We had hot dogs and Adam melted the chocolate for our smores, oh the things you can learn in dental school. Wesley, Brians boy eating dirt with a stick. This is Liz. She is...

Plantaloines: Normandy, France
http://ericscottball.blogspot.com/2008/11/normandy-france.html
Sunday, November 23, 2008. We made a quick stop to several of the World War II sites in Normandy, France. Above is the visitors center for the American Cemetery. The land has been given to the United States from France. It was very well done. A good impression on the states if someone hasn't been here. A display of the flags of those countries that were involved. The main memorial that is at the entrance to the cemetery. This overlooks the picture below. A monument at Omaha Beach. Plantaloines: Venice
http://ericscottball.blogspot.com/2008/11/venice.html
Tuesday, November 4, 2008. The 'super romantic' city with water on their streets: Venice. We took a day trip and saw the sights. Here they are:. A shot of the city as we approached on the ferry. My token 'I was in Venice' foto. A video from the first main bridge we came to in Venice.Americans. A cool little Venitian courtyard at a crosstreet. The colors they use are pretty sweet. Maybe the super old buildings have something to do with it too. A shot taken from the Ferrari tourist trap store window. I hav...

Plantaloines: September 2008
http://ericscottball.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 27, 2008. Forewarning: the spell check here is in Italian. There may be a few misspellings, sorry Keith. Days 1, 2 and 3 were spent in Rome. After spending 13 hours on a plane over the pond, we arrived in Rome at 10 am and spent the entire day touring the city. 38 hours of saying awake made for sleeping very well on a firm mattress at the convent, where we stayed while in Rome. Some of the highlights: click on any foto to view full screen. The view while having Lasagna at the Pantheon.
