Lauttailun jälkeen otettiin metro Canal Streetille ja käveltiin ympäriläpi SoHoa, East Villagea ja Greenwich Villagea. Veni, Vidi, Visa. Lauantai 7. helmikuuta 2009. Vaikka kotona ollaan oltu nyt jo päälle vuorokausi, niin pitäisi ehkä tehdä viimeinen päivytys paluumatkasta Suomeen. Turvatarkastus olikin perusteellinen, sillä lentoyhtiö (eli siis se tosi ihana. Check-in virkailija) oli valinnut meidät kunnolla tarkasteltavaksi. Veni, Vidi, Visa. Torstai 5. helmikuuta 2009. Eilen ei tosiaankaan tehty mitään. Ulkona pyrytti yöhön asti, joten pysyttiin sisällä koko päivä. Katottiin TVtä ja syötiin illalliseks mustikkapannukakkuja. Kotimatkalla käytiin Gloucesterissa Bettyn suomenkielen opettajan, Kirstin, luona. Oli aika hassua koska se ei osannut enää suomea kauheen hyvin, mutta se puhui englantia suomalaisella aksentilla. Oltiin siellä hetki ja palattiin sitten Rockportiin.
