We walk the peaks and dales. Below is the current programme of walks. All walks are on Sundays u.n.o. and the meeting point is Pavilion Gardens Car Park. At 9:30am for the long walks and 10:00am for the short walks. For alternative start points please contact the leader. For more information on walks please call 01298 23441 or 01298 72230. Some of members of the walking club are members of the LDWA which organise longer walks of 15 to 100miles. We walk the peaks and dales. Each walk is planned and arranged by a leader who is responsible for the route taken and is in overall control of the walk. Club members will normally meet at the Pavilion Gardens Car Park. Leaders would not allow you to join a walk if they felt that you were not adequately equipped or prepared, so if you have any doubts regarding suitable equipment, please discuss in advance with either the leader or any of the club's officers.
