Thursday, January 25, 2007. Have you heard of a chinese saying which says 回头是岸 (hui2 tou2 shi4 an4)? It means turn back as the shore is behind you. It is often used to advise on people who have went the wrong way, instead of swimming away further and further, deeper and deeper, why not turn back, as the shore is not far away.
