Fortunately, the LAPD is the finest force in the nation- and Mitch will not support any reduction in public safety services under any circumstance. And as soon as we solve our City budget crisis, Mitch will push aggressively for continued hiring of more officers. Our District was among the hardest hit by the L.A. Fire Department reduction plan- resulting in less protection for some of the City's more fire-prone regions.
