Enjoy - Food & Travel: Fisketorget in Bergen
http://www.enjoyfoodtravel.com/2009/04/fisketorget-in-bergen.html
Enjoy - Food and Travel. Thursday, April 16, 2009. The obvious place to go to look for what the deep waters of the West coast of Norway has to offer is Bergen Fish market. Located at the inner part of Vågen, it has turned into a major tourist attraction, or tourist trap as some would say. Whatever, just walking around among the stalls you may see what you could have enjoyed if you had lived here. Show Bergen as an important culinary centre. To prevent depletion of the local lobster fishing is only allowe...

Enjoy - Food and Travel. Thursday, April 11, 2013. The New Jewish Synagogue, Berlin. The beautiful dome of the New Synagogue. Close to Hackisher Markt in Berlin, you find the New Synagogue. A remarkable building. What you see is just a fraction of what this structure used to hold. The two side towers underline its Moorish influence. In Oranienburg Strasse in Berlin you find an awesome historic monument. The beautiful New Synagogue was built in 1866. Inaugurated by the famous Count Otto von Bismarck.

Enjoy - Food & Travel: Nice interior, strange food - A Taste of Indian, Bergen

Enjoy - Food and Travel. Monday, June 11, 2007. Nice interior, strange food - A Taste of Indian, Bergen. Having spent close to €200 on a brilliant dinner at Spisekroken. We had to hunt for a less expensive dinner place on June 2nd. My nephew Knut had dined at A Taste of Indian before, and wanted to try it again. Good location, nice interior, but nothing more to boast of. The price on the food was reasonable, as paying up to €20 for a main dish is normal in Norway. I, however, would never have p...Service...

Enjoy - Food and Travel. Tuesday, June 12, 2007. Bergen Food Hall and Fish market. Food stories from Bergen. Bergen is a wonderful place to enjoy locally produced food. You have shops and markets you will not find nowhere else in the country, offering fresh, cured and smoked meat products, and cheese and fish caught in the cool seas on the Norwegian west coast. Kjøttbasaren (Bergen Food hall) is located by the harbour (Vågen) and close to Bryggen. It is unique in a country where five main retailers.

Enjoy - Food & Travel: Bergen Travel Hotel
http://www.enjoyfoodtravel.com/2008/12/bergen-travel-hotel.html
Enjoy - Food and Travel. Monday, December 08, 2008. I left Radisson SAS Royal Hotel eager to find a better hotel. I had booked two nights at Bergen Travel Hotel, a small newly redecorated hotel close to Torgallmenningen. Bergens main street. I had managed to get a double room for NOK 790 per night (Around 100 EUROS). Bergen Travel Hotel provided a decent honest experience, and I have no problems to recommend it for visitors to Bergen. Pleasant colour coordinated designer style interior. As it was new...

Enjoy - Food & Travel: Paella for dinner
http://www.enjoyfoodtravel.com/2013/03/paella-for-dinner.html
Enjoy - Food and Travel. Wednesday, March 13, 2013. A pan of beautiful Spanish paella. Paella, the Spanish Risotto. Originating from the Valencia Region. Is a inexpensive, simple and tasty dinner. What you do need for that Spanish taste, is the original paella seasoning. The good news is that most well stocked supermarkets have a brand or two. Add fresh prawns at the end of the cooking time. The traditional paella use chicken meat. I love the fiery red chorizo. I substituted green peas for asparagus.
