Monday, May 21, 2012. Last Wednesday afternoon, my mom, my daughter Anne, and I left on a road trip. The occasion: our son's graduation from Villanova Law School. After three long, difficult years, he walked across the stage and received his Juris Doctor degree. We had dinner at a great seafood restaurant Thursday evening. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of it. On Friday morning, we took the train from the city to Villanova- about a 30 minute ride. Dave and I went for a run Saturday morning.

Saturday, December 31, 2011. After all the preparation, it's hard to believe the holidays are almost over. Our two younger children have come and gone and our oldest daughter and son-in-law have just left to celebrate New Year's Eve with friends in Grand Rapids. Monday, October 31, 2011. Fast forward twenty years to when I had children of my own. Since I'm not a seamstress, I hated Halloween. Coming up with costumes for three children was a nightmare for me. My poor kids had the worst costumes in the neighborhood. As adults, they probably suffer from some kind of disorder because of it. Saturday, February 25, 2012. Results in 10 Workouts or Less! About 15 years ago, I bought my first exercise video from "The Firm". Actually, I started with two videos- Standing Legs. The covers said "Guaranteed: Visible Results in Ten Workouts or Less". I was a little skeptical, but hey, why not give it a try. A few years ago, my husband got a flat screen TV for the exercise room and it didn't have VHS, but only had a DVD player in it. I started doing P90X and got away from The Firm. Happy Birthday, Annie.

Sunday, August 26, 2012. Nike App for Running. My husband has moved me into the 21st century. He gave me an iPhone and iPad for my birthday. I didn't think I needed either and so I acted excited when I opened them, even though I wasn't all that thrilled. OH MY GOSH! How did I live for 55 years without them? I can feel my coronary arteries clogging up already. No wonder they're so good.
