She served in Thailand for 3 years and we met at the debriefing conference I went to went I got home from Africa. She's studying missions too and hopes to go back overseas one day as well. They finished their term in March and have been staying in Northeast Alabama awaiting God's next step for them. It was so great to get to see them again after 8 months! We felt God leading us to marriage from the beginning and had already decided to get married in December, so I knew the official proposal would come during his visit, but I didn't know when. He kept trying to make me think it wouldn't happen till later in the trip, so I tried not to get my hopes up.

It was really pretty, but man it's too cold! I miss Uganda weather :). I'll try to post some pictures of the inside of my apartment sometime soon. This is a view from the back of Southern's campus. All the buildings are kind of in a square shape with this big lawn in the middle. It's really a beautiful old campus.
