The Five Newty's: Middle Fork of the Salmon River
http://fournewtys.blogspot.com/2013/01/middle-fork-of-salmon-river.html
It's not the years in your life, but the life in your years. Sunday, January 6, 2013. Middle Fork of the Salmon River. Man, I am sooo behind on this blog! When we last left off it was the end of summer. Pauly took me on yet another adventure. The Middle Fork of the Salmon River. I've been there before a few times. This time it was a little different. This time, I paddled myself. Here we are at Dagger Falls. In the past we have come in July and have seen GIANT salmon jumping the falls to head for the ...

Oh darlin...: December 2012
http://oh-darlin.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
It's all about "unwindulax" ing. There's moss in Utah? We hiked up Noblett's Creek. It is gorgeous! Tons of moss, even in the winter. Ben looks really comfortable. No wonder he was making soft whining puppy noises. A baby comes with perks. I told Mom that Ben really wanted See's Candies from Santa at the Sorensen family Christmas party. Santa came through! I'm so glad Ben has good taste. We split it- I got the chocolate, Ben got the wrapping paper. Where is the snow? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Oh darlin...: February 2012
http://oh-darlin.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
It's a good thing we live by Beaver Creek. Mom, Dad, and Shelly came up on Saturday to ski the Beaver Creek trail with us. There is finally enough snow for them to groom and set the track, so it was super fun. Between the three ladies, we had one that was pregnant, one with a hurt leg, and one that was taking tons of pics with her iphone, so we took our sweet time. Dad kept skiing back to us to get his extra exercise in. We definitely felt like high rollers on Valentine's Day! I love a nice dinner!

Oh darlin...: ...skiing the canal is great!
http://oh-darlin.blogspot.com/2013/01/skiing-canal-is-great.html
Skiing the canal is great! Dave and I drove 5 min from our house this evening and skied down the canal- like, in the canal. Someone else had already laid tracks, so it must be frozen! It was so cool. As if we live in Norway or something. Loving Marion more and more! February 02, 2013. Looks great. I need to come visit! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Two Peas and Their Pod. Simple template. Oh darlin...: ...this is what I do all day
http://oh-darlin.blogspot.com/2013/06/this-is-what-i-do-all-day.html
This is what I do all day. I was talking to my cousin Peter this week, and he asked me, "Katie, what do you and Ben do. Peter and his wife Amanda have four young children, all very close in age, so I assume he is genuinely interested in what my days are like- not insinuating that I must have a hard time finding something productive to do. If he doesn't know what moms with children do all day then, Amanda, you must tell him! Monday, June 17. 8:00 empty dishwasher, do dishes, start dusting house. 3:30 Ben ...

Oh darlin...: March 2012

A momma needs a rocking chair. And it might as well be gorgeous! My #1 rocking chair of choice is a beautifully designed rocker by Jens Risom. I found it on DWR. A while back and fell in lust. The only problem is $ $ with this one. I also love this rocker that I found at Hive. Very cool, but has no head rest, and even more $ $. Rockers have always been a favorite of mine, and while not as pricey as the above-shown, I think I want a head rest. Last of all, Ikea. Has an option that I like. So, what I'm try...

Oh darlin...: ...you're a gambling man
http://oh-darlin.blogspot.com/2013/02/youre-gambling-man.html
You're a gambling man. We watched the Super Bowl at a friend's house on Sunday. Dave put in $10 to buy some squares to see who would win some of the money from the pot at the end of each quarter. We won! 75 Now I can't tell Dave it's always a waste of money. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Two Peas and Their Pod. Simple template. Powered by Blogger.

http://kirknkirsten.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Five Girls and A Guy. Monday, April 27, 2015. Paige had a little run in with the high jump equipment during track practice. Thank goodness her Dad is really good at stitches (she got 8). Sunday, April 26, 2015. Izzy has discovered chapter books. She is off and running (or reading). Monday, April 20, 2015. April is party month at our house. Here's why. The party continued when we got home with her 'friends' birthday party at the pottery bug. Lots of cute little bugs at that party. View my complete profile.

Five Girls & A Guy: March 2015
http://kirknkirsten.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Five Girls and A Guy. Monday, March 30, 2015. What an amazing spring break. One week in Southern Utah with Bret, Elizabeth and Natalie. Hours and hours of driving, three national parks, 35 miles of hiking, gallons of water, pounds of snacks, and best of all - miles and miles of smiles. We started out big by hiking the Zion Narrows. It was a little (actually A LOT) more crowded than we ever imagined. But if you could look at the view and mentally edit out all of the people, it was incredible! Something fo...

Five Girls & A Guy: April 2014
http://kirknkirsten.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Five Girls and A Guy. Thursday, April 17, 2014. We were lucky enough to get tickets (thanks Karie! To the General Woman's meeting at the conference center while we were in Utah for Spring Break. We took all of the Johnson girls, wives and granddaughters. It was great to be together with so many great women. Cousins Tia, Natalie, Paige, Hannah and Maren: (Sadie hadn't arrived yet). Is it half-time yet? When I said we had just heard the last speaker she responded,. That went fast.". Sunday, April 13, 2014.
