After the first time through, you have a better idea about what tools make things easier, what NOT to do, and where to go when you need more help. For some, it is an opportunity to remember those who have fought for the freedoms most of us take for granted. For others, it means celebrating those who are currently serving in the Armed Forces. Others use the day as a holiday from work.to work in the yard, on the pool, have cookouts, or go to the lake. Even though we did celebrate a typical Memorial Day, mostly we celebrated by making new memories.

We thought that it might of been from exhaustion from the night, but he has stayed in his bed every night since then! We are so blessed to have her in our family and so thankful that she has lived such a long and special life. As I've shared before, Nanny is one of my favorite people and Jake loves her just as much as I do. We had a reception for Nanny and her little sister, Anna Lee (who celebrated birthday #95 in December) at Mt. Yonah. I'm a little partial to those two!

When we found out that we were expecting again, I was shocked, excited, and very scared. How in the world could I handle two children under the age of 2? Here are a few pictures of our family. Thursday, June 3, 2010. Take Me Out To The Ballgame. Got tickets for Jake to go to his first Braves game. Daddy and Mommy got to tag along, but the night was all about Jake. He behaved like a big boy and lasted 5 complete innings plus the 1.5 hour rain delay. We were super proud of him and took lots of pictures to remember this special night. Jake's favorite part? It was a toss up between getting to throw the ball like a real pitcher (see below) and the cotton candy. Jake sliding down the big baseball.
