They had a concert last weekend to show all they have learned. Rachel's little class did a wonderful job and were the cutest lady bugs I've ever seen. I've had half a brain this summer with the baby. She is sleeping better now but it's hard having 4 busy kids and 1 not so sleeping baby. Although we've had low expectations I've tried to do a few fun things throughout the summer. Oh so many years ago. Here is Grandma and Grandpa DeMille during their stay in June with Baby Jaina.

Friday, June 6, 2014. Recently, I wrote this poem for one of my granddaughters, who is loving and snuggly and sweet. S t r e t c h and awakening Lydia treat. Daughter of My snuggledaughter sweet. Dripping with stuffed bunnies and animals galore. Dragged from the bed, bursting basket and floor. More numerous than arms and laps can hold. Child wrapped in glorious snuggleicious fold. Droopy eyes dip into mountain of fluff. Tussled hair covered in soft pixie dust. Just one moment more in cushion retreat.

Saturday, December 7, 2013. Baptism by Immersion - Our First Grandchild. Finally, I saw the earnest expression on my daughter's face and that of her husband. I recognized the years of concern and deliberate effort they had given to preparing their son for this day. I saw the inner tears and profound feelings that remained largely unexpressed by them, in this group of many. I saw into their hearts and felt the Lord's love for them all. Wednesday, July 17, 2013. Torn Fabric - Poem. I appreciate the friends I have in my life. I have felt love and support from them through the years and I likewise have tried to offer them support. I wrote the following poem for a close friend who continues to suffer the pain and heartache of divorce. Torn fabric - torn heart. Can it be mended? So suddenly ripped apart. One thread at a time. Creates a personal design. Now, new fabric - new heart. Foreseen above from the start. The anguish, hurt and fear.

Thursday, May 2, 2013. Snowflake Arizona Temple - Ezekiel's Prophecy. With the name "Snowflake", I visualized the town and it's temple located in a mountainous area. And although we traveled north from Phoenix through some beautiful mountains to get there, the landscape changed to a barren desert.
