An interesting report by Barclays Mortgages and Hometrack reveals the different subtext an address has in different regions. A lane is posher than a street by an average of 100k across the UK as a whole. But in London, living on a street costs a premium of more than 140k. Towers doesn’t appear to get a mention. More numbers here.
