Alan's Blog: Filter Forge 2
http://albeynon.blogspot.com/2011/02/filter-forge-2.html
Sunday, February 13, 2011. I've been experimenting with Filter Forge. A very powerful filter creator - works either standalone or as a plug-in for Photoshop. (click for larger image). March 2, 2011 at 11:50 AM. Wonderful work Alan. A lot of people use Photoshop to render photographs as painted artworks, but this is the best Ive ever seen. As a matter of fact, I would never have thought this started out as a photo! Obviously the plug-in is the way to go. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Tuesday, December 4, 2012. The Little Flea from Jibbon Lagoon. Who would have thought that little Jibbon Lagoon would ever have a claim to fame? If you are wondering where you can find this little creature from the black lagoon, Jibbon is at the north end of Royal National Park. Which as you all know is on Sydney's doorstep. You never know, maybe they helped the little water flea along on its survival journey. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Http:/ www.estherbeaton.com. View my complete profile.

Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Suzanne Holman, go in peace. The artist, Suzanne Holman, at work on one of her first major artworks, the mural at the children's pool at Bondi Beach. I just had to write something to acknowledge this lovely, talented and community-spirited artist. She never stopped created murals and art installations along the whole eastern coastline. What a beautiful woman! Well done, Suzanne. Have you ever had the experience of having photographed someone who later died?

http://estherbeaton.blogspot.com/2012/12/how-not-to-prepare-for-your-art.html

Instead of travelling, doing assignments and workshops, lately I've been tied up in preparing my first 'independent' photographic art exhibition. I complained on my Facebook page as to how unexpectedly difficult it is turning out to be. Nick Gleitzman, a successful photographer in Hong Kong (and my former partner) responded to my wails with some great pieces of advice:. 1 Make sure you have 3 months with NOTHING else to do. From the...
