I have one very special, very loved teddy bear so Mom thought it would be perfect to have a Teddy Bear Picnic themed party for my second birthday. Monday, February 7, 2011. It's been pretty cold and yucky, so Mom set up a little tea party for us inside the other day. I got dressed up in a very pretty dress and Mom was able to put my hair (all of it! In pigtails. So fun! Here are a few photos of my first tea party. I loved it! My brother, Jonah, was kind enough to stop by for a cup of tea! Allie stopped by for a cup too! I had to invite my very favorite stuffed bear to the party! Can't wait for my next tea party! Sunday, February 21, 2010. I've been keeping my parents on their toes this month. Lots of firsts for me! I tried eating a few different kinds of solid foods (i.e. sweet potatoes and bananas) but haven't found I like any yet. We'll keep trying though. No rush, right? It's not like I'm starving! I have even slept through the night a few times! Really it started when Mom and Dad put me in my own room. Maybe it was all that snoring that kept waking me up? Sunday, March 28, 2010. Almost 7 months but here I am at 6 months *wink, wink*. Mom took these weeks ago, but just never got around to posting them. Lots of rain, yes, but also quite a few sunny days too. Can't wait to get outside even more now! Mom has taken quite a few photos of me with my sister. Esther just lights up whenever she sees me. In fact, I've been telling people for months that I'm playing on the Portland Timbers team. :-). My buddy, Michael, is on my team. Wednesday, June 01, 2011. Star Wars Birthday Party. Mom made lightsabers for all my friends using only pool noodles and black and silver duct tape. :-). Our lighsaber treats were chocolate dipped pretzels. Yum! Mom's very talented friend, Melissa, made my awesome R2D2 cake. I loved it! Then we went outside and we were given the task of destroying evil droids which were dropped down on us from above. After that, we played a Star Wars version of Simon Says, "Obi-Wan Says.". What a perfect way to turn five!
