I’ve been away too long – so long that I had trouble getting back in to WordPress! 2010 It has been a long and overwhelming year for me. So AQ was having, as part of his practical exam on the Hotel Management degree that he is taking, a Fine Dining service exam. And he has requested the three of us, AChris, Su-Ann and yours truly to assist him. We are to be his guests at the Fine Dining experience at his college (KDU) and he our waiter. He would be graded by an observing lecturer. Waves and signals STOP sign. Thinking on the spot. What is he looking at?

Saturday, May 12, 2012. One week before this climb, a few friends and I went to climb Gunung Angsi via Bukit Putus. It was a trial climb before the actual big one. Okay, it seems that we are quite serious about going to the beach again. 2 days after our last trip to PD, Rach and I were at Tesco and we thought we'd better get at least 2 floating tubes for the kids. We got the green and orange ones first. I went home and inflate the orange one to check the size and to see how sturdy it was. Looks good. :). Then two days ago, we found ourselves at Tesco again. Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Climbing Pine Tree Hill and Twin Peak. A week ago I received a message from Messner asking if I was keen to go on a recce trip to Pine Tree Hill and Twin Peak in Fraser's Hill the following week. I replied with a "Hmm sounds interesting, should be able to make it" message. He planned to lead a big group in August and thought maybe he should recce the climb so that everything would be smooth sailing come the actual day. Okay, now for the usual detailed report of the climb. :).
