Born and raised in South Florida, Allison connected with the ocean at a very early age. Her early introduction and prolonged relationship with the ocean created a deeply profound love and appreciation for the ocean and all the organisms that inhabit it. That love and appreciation, combined with her curiosity of marine life continues to thrive as she pursues the world of scientific research projects, public outreach and education, and documentary film making.
