Recent Beach Photography: okaloosa
http://okaloosa.livejournal.com/29093.html
Hermit Crab March - Fort Walton, Fl. These little guys are marching into the sunset. I'm thinking of doing a series of hermit crab images. They are the only wild animal that has proven slow enough for me to shoot. Next I'll try turtles. Holding On - East Bay, Navarre, FL. I've photographed this tree before. It was a very bright day and this was taken with the sun at its highest point. Even with that I thank I was able to get a pretty good tonal range and maintain some contrast. Post a new comment.

Broken Path: okaloosa
http://okaloosa.livejournal.com/30169.html
Broken Path - Pensacola, FL. Looks like a painting. To me So many beautiful elements in this work, it is one of my favorites. the Square concrete blocks look like a broken old path. Maybe there actually was one here before. Green grass. Reaches out over the stones from behind a green fence. And tries to touch the golden. Post a new comment. Sunrise: okaloosa
http://okaloosa.livejournal.com/29577.html
Print available from my Imagekind Gallery. Lilly Pad Sunrise - Deaton Bridge Road, N of Blackwater River state park, FL. Just north of Blackwater River State Park, along HWY 90. I actually went up to the Juniper Creek trail this day for some hiking. Nothing interesting along the trail. I was told there were allot of flowers in the spring, maybe this is to late in spring, because no flowers at all. Oh well, I got good exercise and was able to take these shots on the trip there. Hermit Crab Bay: okaloosa
http://okaloosa.livejournal.com/29216.html
Bambooman Silhouette - Fort Walton Beach / Destin, FL - Coby fooling around on the beach. Yes, more hermit crabs yet again. I wasn't joking when I said I was going to do a series on them. Misty Shells - I had my camera on F/22 and this coupled with the longer exposure time to over expose the foreground I got misty looking water. The waves hitting some nearby tree branches splashed my camera. Post a new comment. Anonymous comments are disabled in this journal. We will log you in after post.

I got so many great shots at this amazing sunrise the a couple weeks ago. There will probably be 7 total in the series from this day. Same as above, just black and white.

Some Recent Work - Destin, FL
http://destin.livejournal.com/22175.html
At April 10th, 2008 (06:58 am). Little Cloudway - Navarre, FL. On the right side you can see animal tracks (better visible in the print), I'm pretty sure its a bear. There are different sized paw prints and I'm told this is because a bears front and back paws are not equal in size. Also, there are only four toes visible unlike a dog where you can see all 5. My prints are now featured on RisingLotus.com. Halo Gold - Hurlburt Field, FL. Solitary Exit - Hurlburt Field, FL.

Come by, there is allot to see and do. I'll have a booth there with a large selection of my blended exposures, look for me! One thing to look forward to this summer is all the storms! Landscapes August 2008 - Destin, FL
http://destin.livejournal.com/22865.html
At August 20th, 2008 (02:29 am). Its been awhile since I posted landscapes, things have slowed down and I have 4 new ones! Escaping Darkness - Hurlburt Field, FL. My favorite is the above, "Escaping Darkness", the clouds break off from the dark horizon and there is a popcorn like effect as they break into the sky. This was taken on the same evening as an older piece I did called "dark horizon". Distant Red - Gulf Breeze/Pensacola, FL. Hydrant - Navarre, FL. Twilight Hill - Navarre, FL.
