Welcome to Jenn's insight to Web 2.0. After playing around with Jing, I realize that there are so many ways that I could use it in the classroom. I can give my students directions for a particular assignment by not only telling them, but by showing them. This is useful for so many reasons! I have taken the liberty to download it, and make my first Jing movie. Below you will find a very short video I made explaining how someone can hyperlink text to a website in PowerPoint. Welcome to Jenn's insight to Web 2.0. Until the other day, I had never heard of Jing before. I don't know much about Jing yet, but it appears to be a program that allows people to take screen-shots of their active computer screen, and/or take videos of it. Taking videos, may be useful for people who need to see on-screen instructions on how to do something. I think I'll go download it and make my own video. Welcome to Jenn's insight to Web 2.0. Final thoughts on Web 2.0. Through out the past couple of weeks, I have learned so much about Web 2.o. Not only have I taken the initiative to make my own podcasts, jing movies, and YouTube videos, I have also created an account on Imbee that I plan to use with my students this school year.
