I only have 5 full days left and then one day of traveling, so things are getting pretty down to. The wire. I have been doing the things I wanted to make sure to do before I left. I took a bus to a suburb (sortof) of Wellington called Lower Hutt to go to a museum there called The Dowse. It was not as superb as the modern museum in Wellington, but it was definitely worth checking out! I saw some things which have given me ideas for my senior project, which I am very excited about! The last few days have been spent doing things in Wellington that I have been putting. Off Lauren, Dakota, and I hiked Mt Victoria, which is right outside Wellington, went to the zoo (where we saw kiwis, a tuatara and a giraffe almost touched me! Final Handins and What Followed. So last week was final handins and I would say that I did pretty well. For VCD I totally remade the images for my book. They do look way better, but I was irked when the tutor told me to redo them. I was really happy with the final product! The night after handins we went to Boogies, and also to a neat show at Bodega. I took a lot of pictures on both islands, all of which will be on facebook. For now, heres a few. After getting back into Auckland I ate a huge burger from Wendy’s, which was weird and salty, and now I’m resting. I am pretty exhausted from two days of intense walking.
