Wednesday, January 1, 2014. The First Mechanical Gear was found in a Living Creature. A mechanical gear was found in a living creature? Some poor little creature ate another man made mechanical wonder :'(. Errr nope. You see this gear is not something this creature, know as a. Issus nymph, simply ate while savaging for food, it is actually part of its body. Yup, you heard that right. It is a part of its body. Check it out: Mechanical Gear Wonder Bug! Eternity Science: The Chemistry of a Bullet
http://eternityscience.blogspot.com/2012/06/the-chemistry-of-bullet.html
Sunday, June 10, 2012. The Chemistry of a Bullet. A gunman pulls the trigger and a bullet flies out the barrel in a split second. So the question is, how? What goes on in that very short period of time when the cartridge is hit to when the bullet leaves the barrel? To understand this we have to get down to the basics. Rinker, Robert. Eternity Science: Octanitrocubane
http://eternityscience.blogspot.com/2012/07/octanitrocubane.html
Friday, July 13, 2012. I totally enjoy forensic science, and chemistry is my obsession. So that leads one to wonder about what my future profession may be. Well, here is the thing, I love explosives. If it goes boom, I will find it fascinating (no, not the bomb crazed fanatic arsonist type of way, I really just enjoy the complexity of the reactions that cause them). And recently, I came across a compound that has made me crazy to know more. Bit of a mouthful isn't it? So what is it? Ok so it was not this...

Friday, April 27, 2012. Cuz we all know that if we divided by 0, that city would not still be there. Anyway, I wanted to talk about an interesting field of chemistry. Prebiotic chemistry. a.k.a the chemistry of the early Earth. See, there's the thing. We all have that question, how did we get here? What is the science pertaining to our very existence? Well, we have found a lot of interesting data that might just help answer these questions in prebiotic chem. And Guess what they found? So, check it out:.

Monday, November 25, 2013. A poor defenseless gummy bear, a test tube full of liquid potassium chlorate, and a couple of slightly mad scientists; seems like the perfect set up for some absurd B-movie horror flick, does it not? Eternity Science: October 2014
http://eternityscience.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 30, 2014. Now comes the day when one must put aside all that is important to dedicate ones life to the memorization of biochemical reactions. Current subjects of torture include, but are not limited to, glycolysis and the Krebs cycle. In themselves, they are not hard to understand, but the steps at times can be a bit daunting. I am such a student that need visuals to learn. Or, better yet, I enjoy coming up with the stupidest rhymes or songs in order to memorize something.
