He would not calm down for the echo so they ended up having to move the huge machine to a different room with a window so Ethan could look out and be calmer. It worked! He took three wagon rides today and played in the hospital playroom with toys a few times. He is playing his different games on his Nook and he is making us keep him entertained all day. We had a couple small scares with puffiness after we got home but they just had us wean the diuretics more slowly. He isn't puffy at all now. Ethan weighed 24 pounds before his surgery and he is now 25 and a half pounds! Now what did mommy just say? And he answered, "Baa! Also, Ethan's pulse ox has been reading around 92-94 lately, that's good! Picture Wind...

Fingers crossed that this is his last surgery for a long time. Ethan looks pretty good. Not as pink as we had hoped. But that is because they did a fenestration, he should get pinker soon. Great news! Monday, October 16, 2017. October 16, 2017. Just a note: We got a call that Ethan's "blood clot" was reviewed by CHOP and they now think it is just an artifact from the echo (not real).
