Monday, April 20, 2009. One is a normal foot, one is mine. Guess which is which! Turns out that one of the times I sprained my left ankle, I actually broke my foot. I have to go see a specialist and possibly have surgery/bits of metal/moonboot/crutches etc. So now I am awaiting paperwork from ACC so I can figure out which time I did it, and if I can claim ACC and go private. Otherwise I have to go public and wait who knows how long. Here are the three contenders:. My money is on number 1. Sam's at netbal...

Tuesday, December 30, 2014. The Case for Nightcrawling. Jake Gyllenhaal plays creepy disturbingly well. When he gets thin, his big eyes look hollow, his wide mouth looks sinister, his intense stare looks… well, intense. And all of these physical attributes, along side his robotic like delivery and focussed attention means he plays the amoral and psychotic Lou Bloom, a Nightcrawler. Saturday, February 28, 2015. The Case for a Brief History. In my lead up to the Academy Awards, I had to see The Theory of Everything. The well regarded tale of the life and times of Stephen Hawking, as seen through the eyes (and the memoirs) of his ex-wife Jane. Verdict: The actors in The Theory of Everything. Raise the film above the average to the extraordinary. It didn’t blow my mind, but it definitely made me think and kept me entertained throughout – and what more can one ask? 8 theories out of 10.

Is doing a really good job of screening some interesting documentaries every Tuesday night, but I also thought I should support some of the films showing at the Edge Documentary Film Festival. Took some more pics of the babe. Hasn't she grown! Tried on the Wedding dress to see if it still fits. Amazingly it does :). Sam's anniversary present to me - tidying the 'spare' room.
