Sisyphean Ranch: August 2007
http://sisypheanranch.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 31, 2007. Hi, All. I brought my car in for a fix and a tune up so I got a lot of knitting done on my Wing-of-the-Moth shawl. I had gotten almost this far when I realized I just wasn't happy with it and ripped it out. Now I'm much happier with it and it's zooming along nicely. I just joined another KAL. Just what I need, but I so enjoyed reading about the Mystery Shawl 3 that I couldn't resist. The one I joined is. Secret of the Stole. Knit Picks has great marketing with their free shipping.

Sisyphean Ranch: February 2010

Saturday, February 6, 2010. Update for all you guys who asked. Summer’s Over…Hurray for Fall. Long time, no chat… It’s been a busy, weird fall and winter. You can ignore all the adoption stuff that I wrote about last time. I guess my adopted mother lied through her teeth until the end. I will never know why, but I could never figure her out. Why would someone on their death bed STILL be so insecure? Maybe she knew the truth about my adoption? It’s a real strange story. Since I can’t knit very much ...

Sisyphean Ranch: July 2007

Monday, July 30, 2007. Since the Wimple is finally off my back, I have started a new take-along project. It is one of the most challenging (not really difficult, just keeps your attention) pattern. It's the Bayerische sock. By Eunny Jang. The yarn is KnitPicks Bare Superwash Merino/Nylon Fingering Weight. I've made several mistakes, but the pattern seems to be able to hide a multitude of sins, so that works good for me. I think one more repeat and I will be starting the heel. Links to this post. Hmmm I f...

http://sisypheanranch.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 29, 2008. It's Hit the Fan! Hi, All. This has been 6 weeks from Hell. I have had more things go wrong in my life and don't expect any let-up for a while. Anyway, I've been run through the mill with no end in site. So, to Sue O. and other's who wondered where I am, I'll be blogging more very soon. I have gotten a lot more knitted on my sweater and a new loom (which is currently in pieces all over the place until I get a day to keep putting it together). Links to this post. Its Hit the Fan!

Sisyphean Ranch: March 2008
http://sisypheanranch.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 14, 2008. It's Hit the Fan. Are We still Here? I've had a chance to knit a little while waiting around for appointments and such. It's a big project to haul around, but it's all I'm knitting on at the moment. I've finished the underarm gussets and am now working on the chest. Here is the pattern that I have put together for the chest and shoulder area. My loom came on Monday, February 25th. The only thing that was broken were some pegs on the sectional warp beam that will be easy to fix.

Tuesday, September 1, 2009. Summer’s Over…Hurray for Fall! Update for all you guys who asked. First of all, I want to say “Happy Birthday, Scrunchie! Grandma loves you”. And click on the. Story 1/2 way down the page. I personally found this whole thing hilarious. I like the folks on the list, so this should be a fun KAL. I think it’s supposed to take 8 weeks, which is just right, to my mind. SO… I go to plan B. Since there is nothing “wrong” with me except for low pituitary and adre...If that was the cas...

Saturday, May 31, 2008. I Need a Time Stretching Machine. Are We Still Here? Hi, All. Time Flies! I don’t know where it has gone…It’s true. The older I get, the faster time passes. We’re still working on getting the stepdad’s house in order. I have to go and spend a week or so just packing up stuff I want to keep. We’ve pretty much have gotten the whole place sorted. Goodwill has been getting a lot of nice stuff, too. I have had some fiber fun! 2 skeins of ‘Heaven’ lace-weight yarn that is 45...Cute name...
