Pipe Insulation and Other Products. Overlay Lite is a high compressive strength, lightweight insulated panel used for lightweight floor coverings, e.g. laminate, engineered wood and carpet. Due to its ease of handling and cutting it is also more suitable for larger areas and multiple room installations. Overlay systems use a 12mm pipe.

Pipe Insulation and Other Products. The Polypipe range of underfloor heating systems also provides for timber suspended or battened floors through a single or double heat spreader plate. This is an aluminium plate designed to transmit heat evenly over the floor surface and is suitable for joist widths of 300mm to 450mm. The pipe runs through the preformed grooves on the spreader plates which hold the pipe in place at 225mm average centres.
