Saturday, January 12, 2013. Young Carpet Python trapped in aviary after Finch Meal 11/01/13. After releasing the carpet python from the cage, my father-in-law kindly let it go back into the grass close to a nearby pile of logs. Sadly we lost a few finches on the very first night having them in our care - but they are now secured in a large aviary with very small wire netting - hopefully safe from any other slithering visitors at night. There was a bit of excitement for me this afternoon when I noticed this little guy (Spotted black snake) doing laps in the pool smile emoticon he was much happier after I relocated him down at the creek, and so was the relieved frog who was also doing its best to avoid its swimming companion in the pool! Russell Jenkins Stoop Files. Natural Wonders of Australia and Japan. Tuesday, June 23, 2015. This is Not a Pigeon. Niigata City, Niigata, Japan. June 21, 2015. We had such a great weekend. On Saturday, we went to Tokyo and saw a magnificent Rene Magritte exhibition. It took 13 years to prepare and consisted of his works from collections around the world. We also enjoyed a full-Aussie breakfast at bills restaurant then a grand lunch at the Outback restaurant. Sunday, June 7, 2015. Sakata, Niigata, Japan.
