Wednesday, January 27, 2010. The Bluths came to town. The day after Christmas Ethan, Ashley, and their kiddos came to town. It was so fun to have them here, even if we have pretty tight quarters. It turns out I took hardly any pictures. Here is one of the few I took. All the kids together. It is crazy that getting together with just one of my siblings equals 6 kids. That is a lot of kids. Thursday, December 16, 2010. For the week of Thanksgiving we went to Washington. Our first stop was Kennewick to meet our new niece Emma and go to her blessing. She is the most darling little thing! It was so great to finally meet her since we have been hearing about how great she is for a while. Here is Bry with our kids and Emma. Bryan with his sister Brittany and Emma. Lizzy and Beth Pettingill on a field trip to the State Capital. Bekah going to Coloma, on a 3 day field trip studying the Gold Rush. Lisa and Rich on a weekend trip to Sacramento for out 18th wedding anniversary. Then Rich and I spent a weekend in Sacramento to celebrate 18 years of marriage! Thursday, October 27, 2011. After school started for the kids I started an art project to enter into the church's International Art Competition, that they have every 3 years. I had until October 7, 2011 to get in digital images of the art work into the competition. The theme was "Show Forth His Marvelous Works". I did a mosaic of the Sacramento temple, using watercolors, paints, markers, and colored pencils on watercolor paper. I think it turned out well, what do you think? Oh, it it beautiful!

Tuesday, December 21, 2010. We made a trip to visit my friend Lisa and her kiddo, Rece, for an afternoon. She is so good to always have a fun project for the kids to do to keep them entertained and busy. This time, appropriately, they made gingerbread houses. Thursday, December 03, 2009. This week is a big deal for Jake at school because he is the V.I.P. To say he is excited about it would be a huge understatement. We got the paper to fill out from his teacher, he picked the pictures he wanted to put on the poster and I wrote while he answered all the questions. Since I don't think you can see his answers here are just a few. Favorite food: Lasagna and Reese's peanut butter cups. Favorite things to do: Go to Thanksgiving Point, Ocean World, and to the beach.
