Eugene Fly Fishing Guide. Rods, reels, and flies are provided. However you are welcome to bring your own. On fish fry trips, lunch is provided. Bottled water is always provided. You are welcome to bring additional beverages and use the cooler. You should have raingear, hat, sunglasses, and sunblock. Wading gear is not necessary. Please, no studded boots in the boat. A day fishing license in Oregon is $17.75 and can be purchased on line. Please call to confirm availabilty of dates and book your trip.

Eugene Fly Fishing Guide. Spring is here and fishing for native trout is here with the good weather. The nice thing about this time of year is the fishing is best in the mid afternoon. The river will be planted with hatchery fish the last weekend of April and we will be having fish fries on the river bank then. Summer steelhead are should be here in fishable numbers by June. Carol Ortenzio holds a nice native rainbow. Hatchery trout being fried riverside for a shore lunch.

Eugene Fly Fishing Guide. I have been fly fishing since. Owned Home-Waters Fly Fishing Store in Eugene for sixteen years. Guided in Alaska and Oregon. Taught fly fishing and casting. When possible I prefer to dry fly fish. Member McKenzie River Guides Association. I enjoy cooking and special lunches such as paella over an open fire can be arranged. Dutch oven cooking is available as well as the traditional fish fry. I wish I was still as skinny as in this old picture from the early sixties!
