Sunday, August 17, 2014. Son, you should be glad you did not drop Chinese subject! In Jan 2013, I wrote about my son who got a D for his Chinese subject in PMR had requested to drop his SPM Chinese subject, and I notice it was viewed by quite many people - "Mom, my friends are going to drop Chinese subject! http://igloo-yuinting.blogspot.com/2014/11/well-done-my-girl.html
Thursday, November 27, 2014. Well done, my girl! The books and worksheet of my son and youngest daughter. I warn them to get good result and not to let the trees sacrificed for nothing :-). My youngest daughter loves to do workbook, word search and sudoku. When she was younger, she loved to read instruction manual. Her elder brother and sister said she is weird (怪胎). But actually we know she derives joy and satisfaction from learning. And she enjoys taking part in competitions. By scoring 7As in UPSR!

YuinTing's Igloo: September 2013
http://igloo-yuinting.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 16, 2013. Blog and Facebook (Post Maid Era). How time flies, I have not been updating my blog for a few months.again. Apart from busy juggling housework and office work, my absence from Blog was also due to Facebook. I come to realise I treat blogging like essay writing which requires more time and effort, as compared to my posts in Facebook which are usually much shorter. 我的臉粗了,手粗了,膽子也粗了。 Ever since there's no more kakak/maid, it is my son's duty to water the plants. Nowadays he su...

I DIDN'T FAIL my Chinese! Yes I heard it loud and clear. My son used to complain about how his Ch...

YuinTing's Igloo: June 2013
http://igloo-yuinting.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 30, 2013. Auto"Maid'tion (Life without maid). I have not been updating my blog for a while due to my maid's absence. My previous Indonesian maid was with my family for 8 years, and after she quit, a Filipino maid took her place. She was so good, humble and professional that I never thought she would cheat us. It is indeed a blessing in disguise because all my kids started learning and helping with household chores. Spin and Dry mop and bucket - The first item I bought after I am "maidless".
