Eureka is an interactive installation for Mediamediterranea Festival in Pula, Croatia. Claudia De Angelis, Davide Cocchi and Nicola Plaisant (members of randomclapping) design a playful installation where the act of seat on a toilet is transformed in a colorful and musical performance. Works with a pressure sensors, an Arduino. A PC and a projector. Basically the people sitting on the WC-toilet send input (like a button) to the Arduino; then every input starts a sound (trumpet in this case) and an animation in flash (and actionscript) that is projected on the wall in front of users and WC-toilet. Every WC has a different animation. The mood is very playful and it allows to interact with other people that sitting on the other WCs. Thanks to Joe Pietruch. Thanks to Actionscript Library.
