Its true, right now I'm sitting in front of the Victoria statue in front of BUCKINGHAM PALACE! The flag is flying which means the Queen is at home! Janessa and Jen travel across the pond. March 18th, 2008. Mar 18th, 2008 at 11:11 AM. 10:10 am on the train! Last night when we got in we sat for a few minutes in the conservatory and then were joined by an older man who stood in the doorway and began chatting with us. Antony Ratcliffe was a professor in Cambridge for 24 years and is now a tour guide there and an avid believer in over-50-backpackers :P He seemed to know everything about everything and sat down and chatted with us for 2 hours!

Today was an excellent day :) We started off on time which is always a bonus :) After breakfast we set off in the direction of Tower Hill which is on the opposite end of London (a bit of a ride by Tube) but the Tube station was right there so we walked out and saw the Tower of London!
