Summer Abroad: Day 21
http://mikellsullivan-summerabroad.blogspot.com/2007/07/day-21.html
Sunday, July 1, 2007. Today we went to Versailles. What a massive place! The only bummer is that we were all so exhausted and we had the most up-tight, mean, old, and not to mention, boring, tour guide! It was great though to finally see some fabulous interiors! I’m sure the gardens would have been my favorite ones if it wasn’t freezing cold and raining the whole time. Afterwards we went to the Eiffel Tower and went all the way to the top! The Hall of Mirrors. It was just re-opened yesterday!

Wednesday, December 17, 2008. Well, school is done! The goosebumps on my arms and the constant smile on my face? Well, that is the same feeling I get in Yosemite." Now they completely understand.( I get my love for nature from my parents :) ) I get the same feelings here that people get when they go to church. It is a very inspiring place. I am pretty bummed that I stopped writing on this blog after I came home from my Study Abroad trip but I am going to start doing it again! Posted by Cassie May.

Cassie May: One of my favorite songs
http://cassiemaysadventures.blogspot.com/2008/12/one-of-my-favorite-songs.html
Thursday, December 18, 2008. One of my favorite songs. Through this railroad earth for whatever it's worth. Singin' songs and stayin' high. You know i'll be where my heart feels free. My thoughts are free to fly. Oh mama, please don't make me lie i need my freedom, need my open sky. In your socks and shirt and your bed of dirt with the midnight moon on high. You know i've been where the midnight wind makes the soul and spirit cry. Oh mama, please don't ask me why i need my freedom i need my open sky.

http://cassiemaysadventures.blogspot.com/2007/07/july-5th-going-home.html
Saturday, July 21, 2007. July 5th: Going Home. Are we there yet? Look at us tall girls with our matching Cambridge sweats! We are proud to be American! Well the day definitely didn’t start off as well as I had hoped. Last night we went and checked out the "so called" 4th of July party and stayed for 20 minutes or so. It was a little weird but I did meet a bunch of people from Madison, WI! What a small world huh? We threw all are stuff together and got out the door in less than 10 minutes! We were all rea...

Summer Abroad: GOING HOME!
http://mikellsullivan-summerabroad.blogspot.com/2007/07/going-home.html
Tuesday, July 31, 2007. Getting home was quite the task. We woke up and left florence at 6:00 am, between all our luggage, all the transportation, customs, and delays we finally made back to Salt Lake 27 hours later! What a trip though. I would be lying if I said I was glad to be back. I learned so much about culture, art, architecture, art, design, and history. I can't wait to go back! This trip helped me realize how important it is to travel and learn. Thanks Darrin! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
