http://jesskern.blogspot.com/2008/04/almond-orange-shortbread.html
Monday, April 7, 2008. I made these for book club a couple of weeks ago (we read Austenland. And I wanted something British-y). They are delicious and just might be my new favorite non-chocolate cookie. The original recipe comes from Everyday Food Magazine. 1 cup (2 sticks) butter. 1 cup confectioners' sugar. 3/4 teaspoon almond extract. 2 cups all-purpose flour. Grated zest of 1 orange (about 2 teaspoons). 3/4 cup sliced almonds. I just might have to give this recipe a try. Sounds so good. April 8, 2008...

Sunday, February 17, 2008. Long Overdue Family Update. Wow, I have been so bad about keeping up with our blog lately! We have had a lot going on this past few weeks. Hailey got a horrible ear infection and after 2 different rounds of antibiotics didn't work she then had to get a shot and then a 10 day round of a different antibiotic. After 2 1/2 weeks she is finally starting to feel better and has been sleeping through the night again. Hailey is growing up so fast! Posted by Our Family.
