We are just waiting for our notarized copy to be sent to us, which should be done next week and then we can send in our packet to Ethiopia and be on the waiting list! We are getting SO excited! We're hoping to be able to send it in by the end of next week, and then we should be receiving a referral anytime after mid-May (or before)! We're super excited, either way we would have been excited, but it will be super fun to have two boys close in age once our adoption is complete! Friday, January 16, 2009. Today we found out a few pieces of info that are very exciting! First of all my sister and brother-in-law are now also on the wait list! For those of you who didn't know, they are also adopting from Ethiopia, same orphanage, etc.) Their first choice is a sibling group, and they are #11 on that list, and then they are also on the boy(#18) and girl(#28) individual lists! Evan, Clover and Co. Thursday, June 4, 2015. Cafe of the Moment. Living in the woods doesn't mean I have to miss out on the dining scene. Just tonight, I attended the opening of a hot new cafe. Since it was the first night, there were speeches, then I got to cut the ribbon (move the ceremonial branch). After the host seated me in a most comfortable rocking chair for my wait (remarkably short), the waitress showed me to my seat. The al fresco dining options are beautiful. Then the main course- steak tacos!

Wednesday, June 12, 2013. The morning of January 4, 2013, it snowed here in San Angelo. My little Italian man, Eli, was in awe. He reminds me of the Italian men who strolled all over with their hands behind their backs. The snow started late the night before and continued the next morning to give us a good layer. Ross and Janet were in town. Janet stayed with the boys while Ross, Evan, and I drove to the Cotton Bowl. We played with our trains and in the snow before we left that day. My little fearless guy.
