there, i just said it: Tale from a Stage Manager Gone Mad
http://katie-huggs.blogspot.com/2011/09/tale-from-stage-manager-gone-mad.html
There, i just said it. I'm scared you'll forget about me. Monday, September 26, 2011. Tale from a Stage Manager Gone Mad. In an attempt to look at the bright side, here is one of the more amusing anecdotes of my oh-so-graceful reactions to herding (ahem, stage managing) 80 children in this year's elementary play. One girl broke my litany. She came straight out of the bathroom with her costume back on her hanger, insisting that the costume was too big and she needed smaller. We need to see it on you.

Turn off your mind, relax, and float down stream. Tuesday, March 9, 2010. I was looking up jj on the internet to see if i could find some info on the band, and i was having a tough time. I finally found an article posted on pitchfork about the band, and my heart sunk. Apparently, the "lead singer guy" was actually a girl. For some strange reason, jj all of the sudden didn't click with me. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. The city goes to bed. Can't See the Forest For the Trees.

Turn off your mind, relax, and float down stream. Thursday, October 21, 2010. Instead of working on my stories for the newspaper, I'm going to compile a list of my favorite things. My all-time favorite song. Is either "Casimir Pulaski Day". Both for entirely different reasons. My all-time favorite album. From last year, though the greatest album of all time is Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. The greatest band of all-time. My favorite movie is. Followed by It's a Wonderful Life. The Age of Adz.

Turn off your mind, relax, and float down stream. Sunday, January 30, 2011. Oh na na na na na. Pardon me, but I believe I have perfected a dance move. I know you're scoffing right now. Please stop. Anyways, the dance move is called shoulder raising. Sit in a chair in front of a mirror, put on a song with a nice beat, such as "Odessa" by Caribou or "You Spin Me Right Round (Like a Record Baby)" by Dead or Alive. The next step is to emphatically raise your left shoulder in time with the music.

Turn off your mind, relax, and float down stream. Sunday, February 6, 2011. I saw a film today, oh boy. Exit Through the Gift Shop. I recently did a post ranking all of the movies I saw in 2010. Well, since then I've seen three more (from last year), and they were all quite good, so I've gone back and added them to the list. A word about and a score for each:. 1 Exit Through the Gift Shop. 2 The King's Speech. A well-acted, slow-paced classy movie for old people. Another word about The King's Speech.

Turn off your mind, relax, and float down stream. Thursday, November 18, 2010. Interview with Floco Torres. For the school newspaper here at the ol' First Presbyterian Day School, I recently (about a month ago) sat down with Floco Torres, a local hip-hop artist, at Books-a-Million, and talked about his music, the local scene, books, models, and other things. Here's the full interview, raw and uncut:. Are you from Macon? Were you always into rap? What got you into it? Laughs) People started to react in a ...
