Thursday, June 23, 2011. ASPNet how to warn a user that their session is about to Timeout and allow them to extend their session for longer using AJAX. So, you have an application with a session of 20mins (which I think is the default). But you have some forms which require the user to type out detailed information which might take longer than 20mins and when the user goes to submit the information their session has timed out and they get kicked back to the login page. Your Session is about to timeout!
