Thursday, May 2, 2013. I think I'm the one who is having the hardest time with it because I'm ”it” for 6 kids for 3-4 hours every evening and it sometimes feels a bit overwhelming. We have a snack, do homework, play, prepare and eat dinner together every day, so afternoons are non-stop busy for me. Sidenote: I had mono for Easter (complete with huge, swollen glands in my neck, and a 103* fever for two weeks) and ever since, when I push myself physically too much, the swollen glands, sore throat, and fatigue come back. Saturday, June 27, 2015. Summer has turned in to a bit of a blur. or maybe that's just because it's 3:40 in the morning. (gotta love middle of the night thunderstorms when your dog wakes you up because he's afraid, and then you can't fall back to sleep.). This past week, I once again had a bit of a revolving door. Alex stayed the night with a friend at the beginning of the week, and he must have stayed up all night because he was a bear for the next several days. This week's pics are out of order-sorry.

At one point, the boys were watching Mr. Peabody and Sherman, and Alex excitedly burst in to my room to tell me about a scene that takes place in Ancient Egypt and how he and AJ knew all about Pharaohs because we've been reading about them in our study of Africa.
