Click image to enlarge. Steel, stainless steel and tempered glass. The 1/2" (12 mm) tempered glass tabletop is supported by brushed stainless steel round legs that lock into a gently curved steel support frame. The elements lock together at dominant machined joints that are visible just below the plane of the glass. The steel frame is finished with a black oxide coating and then sealed with tung oil. A black galvanized finish is available for exterior use. Width 36" Length 76" Height 29".

The City Desk is supported by the same trestle frame as our Partners Tables, a version of our stabilized beam design. Brackets bolt the desktop directly to the steel stretchers of the trestle assembly. The result is a lighter desk with a high proportional core weight. The lower beam flanges of the trestle legs lock into milled aluminum floor supports. These aluminum 'shoes' are available in black or red.

Click image to enlarge. Maple veneer Appleply, maple, steel, and stainless steel. The Partners Table is supported by a version of our stabilized beam design. Combining this trestle assembly with an Appleply tabletop results in a lighter table with a high proportonal core weight. The end cantilevers of the these tables are reinforced with maple stretchers that fit inside the steel trestle frame. The Appleply tops are Forest Stewardship Council certified and are finished with a UV cured clear epoxy.

Expressing both lightness and strength, the legs of the trestle structure are made from short lengths of deep steel beams that are stabilized by stainless steel tie rods. The typical low invasive stretcher bar has been eliminated. The design of the aluminum support assembly allows maximum cantilever of the tabletop with minimum visible structure. Click image to enlarge. White oak, steel and aluminum. The standing desk is supported by legs cut from heavy steel plate. They are braced by a formed aluminum shelf, and tie rods lock the structure into a rigid assembly. The desk is available in one-inch height increments, between 36 and 46 inches. Desktops are 30" deep and 40" wide, of quartersawn clear white oak with a hardwax oil finish. Sealants are applied over natural metal finishes. Width 30" Length 40" Height 41". US Patent 11/503,724.

Click image to enlarge. Light Beam Side Table. Poplar and steel beams. The tabletop of laminated poplar boards is bolted between 3/4" beam cutoffs. The top surface is flat and smooth, while the lower surface angles down to increase contact with the beam webs. The individual boards are expressed at both ends as a low relief. Poplar is a fast growing and abundant hardwood. It is sealed with tung oil and the beams are powder coated red. Width 12" Length 24" Height 25".

The four modular elements of the tabletop cantilever off parallel aluminum stretcher bars with a minimum of visible structure. Available in a standard length as well as custom lengths, in walnut and other hardwoods. FSC certified woods are available.
